FPD Teams are for the dancer who is excited to have more opportunities to perform and is willing to take on an increasingly challenging curriculum.
Joining a competition team is a significant commitment to dance. Not everyone who participates will become a professional dancer, in fact most will not. But every dancer on our team will learn that if you are willing to work for the things you love, you can achieve more than you can imagine through hard work and perseverance.
We offer 3 levels of commitment to participate on our competition teams. Our youngest beginner level of members are our Minis. Apprentice dancers are team members who want the intensity of competition, but with a reduced slightly schedule size and financial commitment. Full competition participates in the full schedule of required classes and groups, and may evolve into solo performers as well.
Company is our team created for dancers who prioritize their instruction and performance options above our recreational dancers, but do not want to make the more extensive commitment to Competition.
Company will join the Competition team at 2 competition/convention events as well as one charity performance. They must audition for placement on this team.
Crew is a Hip Hop performance group that commits to a slightly heavier class load and has additional performance opportunities Crew participates in 2 competitions and 1 charity event.
Dancers also experience the opportunity to go through an audition process, perfect 2 performance pieces, and perform their pieces throughout the year.
